Family counseling consists of 45-50 minutes sessions with an Associate or Licensed Professional Counselor or Social Worker. Family sessions involve two or more members of the family. Some sessions will involve all family members, while others involve only a few. LES counselors work collaboratively with the family in effort to partner with families in meeting their immediate and long-term needs. With family counseling, no one person is the client but the entire family will work together.
Family counseling can assist with communication challenges, divorce, blended families, mental health, and other problems that disrupt the family system, etc.
